Pullman-Holt sells HEPA vacuums to various Federal Agencies through the Muti-Award Contract. Our first HEPA vacuums was developed specifically for the Navy in 1963, to remove hazardous materials from their ships. Following the Anthrax exposure in the fall of 2001, Pullman-Holt was selected to develop specific HEPA Vacuums to clean all types of postal facilities throughout the country. Working closely with the USPS safety engineers in Norman, OK, Pullman-Holt introduced five HEPA Vacuum models in 2002, three of which are "conductive" units, approved for cleaning the equipment in their large mail-processing centers. Based on the technical merit of our products, Pullman-Holt received 70% of all USPS requirements for HEPA Vacuums.
